S/V Natalya

Cruising the World Starting in '08

PRE-TRIP PREPARATIONS

Right now Scott (aka Ude, the Skipper) is working on refitting Natalya for our trip (See the 'Updates' Section for more on this topic). She is moored in Houston, Texas. Rusty (1st Mate / Swabby) will be getting out of the Army on 18 Feb, flying into Houston on 2 Mar to assist in the preparations. The final member of our crew, Desmond (2nd Mate / Cabin-Boy) is relaxing in the warm confines of West Palm Beach making preparations to join us in Houston. We plan on departing by mid-April, and will have more information and a better page built by then. We now have our position linked to a google-earth map which you can view from the 'Current Position' page. Check back for more updates!

TRIP UPDATE MAY '08

S/V Natalya's circumnavigation is currently on hold until late September / early October. The trip has been postponed in order to have enough time to get her completely ready (lots of work still to be done), and also to avoid the hurricane season.
